LaCoe's is a small family owned slaughter house serving the community from our location in Scott Township, Pennsylvania across from Heart Lake.
The company has its beginnings in 2012 in La Plume, PA focusing on custom butchering for local livestock producers in Pennsylvania and New York. In 2017, a new facility was opened with the hopes of processing under USDA inspection. As of July 10, 2017, the Heart Lake Plant is processing under USDA inspection.
In 2018, we consolidated our two plants into our Heart Lake facility. This provided our customers all of customers with the protection provided by the USDA stamp.
Our mission is to provide a way for local producers to get their product to market quicker and cheaper. Our experienced team prepare our customer's meat preserving the quality and enhancing it with presentation.
We have a of the art smoke house that enrich the meat flavor with spices and fruit wood smoke.
We want to provide the customer with their desired product, so we welcome and encourage special instructions and make every effort to accommodate requests.
